With many years experience in his field, Ernest Takahashi, OD has run a successful Sacramento practice since 1971. A graduate of UC Berkeley, he was recently chosen as Alumnus of the Year. He is a recipient of the California Optometric Association’s Young OD. An active member of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society he has served as President of the society.
His additional accomplishments include having served as editor of California Optometry Magazine and as a member of the board for the Primary Eyecare Network Advisory Board. He is also a board member with Pacific Laser Eye Center and is trained and credentialed to supervise the co-management of laser surgical patients.
Kenneth Sakazaki, OD is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Optometry. A native of the greater Sacramento area, Dr. Sakazaki joined the practice and became a full partner in 1987. He has served as a consultant for the Professional Relations Department of Vision Service Plan (VSP). He is a managing partner with Pacific Laser Eye Center.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Associations as well as having served as President of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society. He also serves on the advisory board of Primary Eyecare Network. He has been in private practice at his office since 1986. He is trained and credentialed to supervise the co-management of laser surgical patients.
A Sacramento native, Kristen L. Sakamoto, OD graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1998. Kristen L. Sakamoto, OD joined our practice as an associate in 2001. Her previous experience includes employment at Pacific Laser Eye Center and McClellan AFB.
